formatting a usb drive NTFS or FAT32

just wondering what's the best if any for a 16gb usb drive?

NTFS unless you need to read it in BIOS or Win98. If you need to boot from it to flash bios etc, you would need fat 32

Slightly more capacity. And more secure.

If you think the contents of the drive will ever be read by a machine using windows ME or earlier , use FAT32 otherwise use NTFS.

NTFS uses smaller clusters so is more efficient at using the space on the drive
