Formatting help

Trying to format a corrupt HD but by putting it in as a second drive in my other machine and trying to format it from there, but it wont let me due to a security problem.

Is there any way around this?

I've got a low level formatter off the net going on the HD, it looks like its working, taking its time to format though, been going since i posted this thread. (250GB)
