Hi guys,
Ive just added a 320GB Western Digital SATA Hard Disc to my computer.
Its picked up fine in BIOS and Disk Management picks it up but it doesnt give me any options to format:

I can run WD Diagnostics and it says the drive is fine, I just cant seem to format it!
Ive installed the latest Asus SATA Drivers but no luck.

Its an Asus K8V SE Deluxe Motherboard. Ive had the SATA connector working properly before as ive got 2x36GB raptors which are in a RAID on the other SATA channels. Its just odd that it wont let me format it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as ive never had this problem before.

Is the disk Initialis(z)ed? In Disk Managment, where it says Disk3, right click it and click initialise disk. This will allow you to format. :)

EDIT: Pic didn't load before - just seen it. Do as above, you need to initialise it ;).
