Hi all,
I was thinking about formatting my pc cause recently it has started to slow down and no matter how many defrag's/scandisk' i do it just doesnt feel as fast and efficient as it used to. Now that ive put in a new CPU (upgraded from 3200+ to 3700+) i had to update the bios so the motherboard would recognise the chip, the question is:
'If i formatted the primary hard driver with my operating system on, how would i go around updating the motherboard so it would recognise the chip? Does the bios reset itself on a format or does it keep to the same version until a manual reset is performed on the jumper'?
Thanks in advance,
Kris
