I'm having issues with my system, when heavy drive access is happening my sound stutters. I'm using a Hercules Fortissimo III 7.1 on the Gigabyte DS3 motherboard, drives are two SataII in a RAID0 configuration.
Have tried all PCI slots to no avail.
Sound is just fine normally, windows startup wav is broken and stuttery, same happens to mp3's that are playing when I load games and stuff.
Has anybody else got/had the same issue?
I'd like to keep the soundcard as I really like the ability to switch from headphones to speakers via the control panel.
