Before adding that bathroom it might be worth a call to your local planning department!
A 'change of use' permission may be required especially as you've also increased the roof height.
Getting a stop notice is no fun, especially as you don't plan on renting it out to students. :P
Building control might want to look at the foundations (or lack of) under that new wall you built too.

But then again I'm sure you've already done that, just didn't want to bore us with legalities :)

All been done mate, before I wanted a selfish gaming room we were going to have it as an actually on suite room so we got all that stuff sorted before hand. Thanks for the heads up though ;)

More work this week, wired to the mains now, internet lead planted, all plumbing pipes installed. The Plasterer has just finished, it's really beginning to take shape. The wife though, she looked at it and wanted to put some Gym equipment in, I may have a battle on my hands here lads! :P
