Anyone else getting the issues with the formatting in the forum where it doesnt display the thread correctly and you can see the html code behind it? I thinkk its caused by the Enable push notification banner at the bottom but i cant make it go away? I am using firefox

Any ideas?

Yes I've been getting the same for several days. Interestingly it only happens on Firefox. Sometimes it is on specific pages. But occasionally it goes away if I refresh the page (mostly it doesn't though). I thought it might be someone in someone's signature because a page can be fine but then messes up when I come back to it later when there are more replies. I will try clearing cookies at some point in case that helps.

This will most certainly be something on your device at fault.

I kinda gathered that wasnt implying it was the forum itself. Must be the browser mishandling the html itself.

Glad to know i am not the only one, i tried clearing the cookies etc but hasnt made a difference. It doesnt always happen. Quite annoying cause i cant reply or do anything when the page is presented like that.

On firefox none of the formatting or embedding menu buttons work (they are all greyed-out), but grim5 already mentioned it. Plus theres an OCUK banner ad at the page top which flashes into view for about 2 secs then disappears. Q is the banner supposed to stay visible?

The banners are meant to stay visible.

Are you running any sort of ad block (although given IIRC they're hosted on the same servers it shouldn't affect it), or using it on a tablet/phone or something?

Running on just my PC. My tablet and phone etc seems fine.

The banner flash is definitely a thing on mobile, this is a video converted to a gif where you can see the flicker as I hit refresh.

Oh god, anything to show off that hideous green colour.
As a forum we are dedicated to ensuring the best energy efficiency for all our users, and as such a study has been undertaken into what colour uses the least power to process and display.

From the start of December we're going green for everyone.;)

Im using mobile, on firefox and no ad-blockers installed.

Just for your information, i found a quick fix for this issue. Ctrl + F5 will force the page to reload and sort the formatting.
