Forum Issues?

Yeh we're aware, an issue with one of the servers
I checked again today for "5950X" in the CPU subforum and I'm no longer getting any errors. But I'm not getting any results either. I tested "4790K" as a fallback and I got one result for a thread created last year.

Didn't want to start a new thread. Does the forum ability to remember the last comment you viewed on each thread instead of just loading the 1st / last page. Does this add any server strain or is it negligible? Also is this feature only available on the kind of forum tech you guys upgraded to?

Everytime you open a thread, it should go to the latest post providing you haven't opened the thread before. This doesn't happen if you haven't viewed the thread for some time though; you can also click on the Jump To New button at the top right of the thread

Hi mate, doesn’t answer my question. I know that’s how it works.

It's as simple as a database entry, and there is no real additional load.

Does the forum have daily maintenance or downtime about 4/5am UK time?

I try reading on my way to work or sat in bed and it rarely connects .

I've noticed this to, my morning routine has changed and I'm doing a bit of forum scrolling early on at 5am.

I get a lot of connectivity and cloud flare issues.

The search server unfortunately got bricked a couple of days ago, so we are currently getting it re-implemented.

I see the search function is working again :)

Can we change the default search back to "This thread" again rather than "Everywhere". It's a pain forgetting to change it every time and having to search twice :p
