Its not just you, I have always found the search is not very good at well, searching

It's because the default sort from a basic search like that is by date of thread creation and the thread you're highlighting was started in 2008, so it'll be way down the list

In the advanced search, there are Order By options.

The top 3 all produce the same results. Not showing the thread I want (the main Lego thread). It's only when selecting most replies does the thread appear.

Yeah the search does blow. It should have the most recent / most replied threads first. I can never find stuff. Can't blame people for posting new duplicate threads if the search isn't usable.

Here's the search I did. Simply clicked on advanced search entered Lego in the box and searched.

And the results. This thread first, then the big lego thread.

What else are you expecting?

You don't even need to do advanced search to get those results. What happens when you select search titles only via advanced?

I would expect it to display the most recently posted to thread with Lego in the title.
