Simple solution is to host your own domain, then you can either have any email address you want at your domain, or forward it to any email address you want (i.e. gmail).
i can understand having a isp linked email address to sign up to stop spambots and the like but once registered couldn't we be allowed to alter our contact addresses?
its not much of a issue but my current contact address isn't my favoured one, i only use the current one to store the 'fair usage policy' emails from tiscali
I changed my trust one to my hot one as I don't use the one I signed up with, it's from my previous ISP...it's still active, just it isn't my personal one.
