Hi,

Appreciate it's extenuating circumstances being 6800 launch day, but c'mon. It's not like the Zen3 + 3080 launches weren't enough of a heads up that having a dependency on the root site is a bad idea.

:(

Its all the copy and past threads for ***GFX Cards Cheap as Chips, ony 3 Mortgages required Pay Now Delivery in 6 Months If We Get Stock Buy Buy Buy For Tomorrow We Increase The Prices******

DDOS, someone at OCUK disgruntled or too many Black Friday Deals being prepered? Back online now of course but still slow.

Just too many people with £650 to spend on a new graphics card fighting to buy one of the 4 launch day cards they probably actually had in stock

Completely predictable, happened for nVidia cards, AMD CPUs, but they'd rather let the site fall over for an afternoon than put sufficient resources in place to manage a launch sensibly.

Someone seems to have put 50p in the meter again now. I've been getting OCSP errors for weeks, on and off (you need to have OCSP:require enabled to see it) because of SSL misconfiguration at the server end. Seems OK again for now.

Again today I have had to tick how many sets of traffic lights there are and how many trains there are.

I am hoping there is someone else who had problems getting on to OCUK. :D

Opps - I see I am a bit late :o

Just had to complete a CAPTCHA to get onto the OCUK site

Yeah I got that too. I didn't know they were behind CF and assumed it was a new move (i.e. today). Pain in the backside if that's the case, as VPN users - you know, the geeky kind who frequent places like OcUK - get hammered by it. :o
