I don't think I would really be interested in the book too much, the only thing that appeals is the extra cars. I suppose it depends whether or not you think the extra cars and stuff are worth it, to some people they will be but for an extra tenner (if you buy it online) then I don't think they would be for me.

Posted in the other thread, but if you trade one of the games on the blockbuster list theyre practically giving it away. I paid £6 and traded crckdown for forza 2 ltd edition and if id been paying full price id have happily shelled out more for the extras.

I walked straight into my local shop and picked it up today. No problems.
Got the wheel too.

Traded in 5 games and got £73, was quite surprised :). Another (independent) only offered me £57.

I picked up the collectors and personally it seems worth it.

Quite recently I've been getting p'd off with the amount of 'special edition' games that don't really seem to offer anything substantial but the book which comes with this isn't a bad read. Reminds me of the manual that came with Cammond's GP3 in that it has some basics on handlings, tips etc.

Yeah, nice box, free cars and the manual is great. Plenty of useful content though i do think much of this information should really be in the standard manual. Very nioce though and its nice to get some decent documentation, reminds me of my Amiga days :) .
