I know I'm a little bit late to the party on this one, but I'm a new 360 so I've got an excuse! Just completed PGR3 on Platinum and I couldn't decide whether to play TDU, PGR4 or Forza next but eventually decided upon the latter.

Coming from PGR3 it seems a bit... different. I assumed you'd start in Arcade mode as that was first up but I'm a bit lost with the Exhibition mode. Am I right in saying that I can complete each track with any class of car I choose, and as long as I finish in the top three places I'll unlock cars and open up the next track?

1st place = 3 cars unlocked
2nd place = 2 cars unlocked
3rd place = 1 car unlocked

So is there any benefit from racing in a C Class car to a R Class? is it just about picking the right car for each track or are there extra bonuses available for completing each track with each class of car, as in PGR?

A little tip for you.It may be tempting to make your car so it totaly kills the others in a race, and this may seem like the obvious thing to do.But you will get much more out of the game if you make your car as close to your opponents as you can, maybe even a little less.

I had much more fun in the Factory Spec races, and R3-2-1 cars. And even when you have the exact same car, they arn't that quick anyway.

The tuning can get crazy, and it comes more into play with the online part of the game.

Did the exhibition mode first, just made sure we got gold on every single race, then jumped into career & now doing the same again, getting gold on every race :)

My favorite game on the 360 no other game on consoles can pull me in like forza can.

The golf is defently a beast! But i loves my CLK GTR more ;)

I just got this recently as it was cheap in a highstreet catalogue shop, started with career mode bought the golf first and stuck in a turbo and a new exhaust :)

Arcade is good fun. The last time trial in the porka is awesome!

Shouldn't take too long to do either -might be worth doing career for a bit first though. Whilst they aren't linked - you will lean the track. I did 80% of the time trials on the first lap. Even the last one on the ring in the porka I was only 1 second of on my first lap. Second lap i smashed it by 20 odd seconds, I do know that track well though. Would have took forever if it was new to me.

I went off the game but Im back into it now the better cars are opening up. Although i can't seem to drag myself away from COD4
