Forza 3 - Time Trial Championship

Slight improvement in time and thats me done for this week, can't see myself beating this lap time again:

I think I'll not be getting 1:23.1xx unless I can find some major curb cutters that don't result in a /!\...


Good Fun though, learning these circuits should help in SP and MP!

No i haven't tried without assists. I am not use to manual gears and to be honest with you on this track with this car can't see there will be a much difference.There is not many heavy braking zones in this track apart from last chicane.
 
Had my first session at this.
Bit of a late night drive but got upto speed within 60 laps.

Nice car and track, good fun.

Nice opening time!

I'll try and get into the 1:23's and see if I can start challenging for 2nd or 3rd this week..
 
I'll post a new time later (No photo as yet, it's on the leaderboards), but it's still in the 1:24.1xx range...


I think I might be able to just get around, or possibly just under Mr Latte's time (will add you as a friend later, if that's OK!, easier to compare times), I found after 25 laps a few places I am not carrying the max speed due to lack of finesse coming off the brakes and turning.. coupled with a few experiments on which kerbs can be taken at speed without uncertifying the lap, which I guess is just part of the process!

Yeah Demon no problems.

Ive enjoyed this combo guys, like others the track knowledge is increasing on where it is possible to make up time.
Improved my time down to a 123.3XX but feeling on the next go I just might beat that

Would love to make the top 3 again.

1:23.3xx is pretty amazing...!

I was thinking your last time was pretty much unobtainable.. this one blows it out of the water..

I'll see if I can grab an hour tonight to have a go, I did 40 laps last night (about 30 mins).. and am very slowly improving!
 
Made a sterling attempt and had a rather special lap only just 17 laps into tonights session.

Just done an epic 40 lap session (well it's epic for me!)

Got it down to 1:23:289 MS Wheel, Manual + Clutch, No Assists

There is a couple of places where I can be faster, but stringing a perfect lap together is tough on this one, it doesn't take much to overwhelm the grip!

Congrats on previous round, just couldn't get anywhere near your time. On to this round, the car is nice but this is a new track for me really so it will be good to learn it. :)
 
Thanks for the compliments, wow I won a round, shock horror!

I barley played FM2 so its all new to me as well and im sure others too mate.
Some nice corners on this track.. Lets hope its a good un and well the car is a beauty, loved this car since PGR2

(Oh and see a few Mclaren Fans on these forums, next year will be awesome seeing Lewis & JB, great news this week, I reckon Lewis will have him though!)
