FORZA 3

gotta love microsoft a few years ago saying they would promote pc gaming , what did they actually do? tie some games to crappy windows live or whatever it was called and abandoned us once more.

probably end up with google bringing out an os in a few years and killing MS. most gamers will probably rejoice if it ever happens

i cant see it happening, and dont know why it should. surely investing the money in a decent pc racing sim would be better than porting a console game that will probably be buggy.

why wont they release it on the pc
Why spam the same question again?

because it was a x box exclusive with a contract deal thats why we will never see it on ps3

x box has forza
sony had gran turismo
pc get the leftovers
Turn 10, the developers of the Forza games is an internal Microsoft studio, so obviously it is why this series is Xbox/Xbox 360 only.

The same deal goes with Polyphony Digital as they are an internal development studio of Sony, so that is why Gran Turismo belongs to the PlayStation brand and you will never see it elsewhere.

Gran Turismo is also Sonys own "Jewel In The Crown" being their best selling game/franchise by any Sony based Studio.
Even GT5 Prologue has sold more than FM3 but that isnt surprising given its heritage and popularity.

The bottom line is, if they thought there was money in it I'm sure they would..

Coupled with the fact FM has always been a little more hardcore then your the usual mainstream more arcadey efforts (Gran Turismo), it wouldn't fair well against the decent PC Sims that already exist..

TBH GTR 2/LFS/R Factor/GPL > Forza 3.

Not saying Forza is bad, just that PC racing sims are better.

Totally agree, as out and out 'pure' sims, it's just doesn't fair well, not that it's rubbish, it's phsics seem pretty much OK, it's just it isn't structured for the hardcore..
