I know they are trying to get more money, but surely all of these season passes would make more sense at 2100 points?

I don't think tracks are planned as DLC. It's normally just cars.

Mostly because adding a track would be a major change for lots of parts of the game, plus it'd be a massive download of several gigs.

So the LCE is only available at game thats really annoying. Got loads of HMV vouchers that I am going to buy this with so guess ill just have to miss out on the extra cars and get the standard version

Sure they added tracks with DLC before? I doubt a track would be that much gb wise

Although they added them in FM3, I think the rumour is that they won't be doing any as DLC in FM4. The one thing that FM4 is lacking is tracks, not cars.

Going by the demo, I'm pretty sure the game is worth much more than the 8.5 that Gamespot gave it, and their main gripe was the lack of new tracks. I'm sure if more reviews had dropped a few points because of this, T10 would sit up and take notice.

If I were Dan, the first thing I would have done when FM4 had gone gold would have been to send a team out to Bathurst, Brands, Donnington, Spa and the Ring, and told them to make the best possible versions of these tracks available.

I hope one day that I can go to the DLC page and see a "BTCC Track Pack"

I have to say I'm not as excited as I was, the new tracks don't really excite me, I'm not a fan of fictional tracks and the old ones haven't been updated e.g. Silverstone.

The demo was fun but felt the same as the FM3 demo but with nicer dashboards.

I'll definately get it at some point.

I agree with Skii. I'm still getting it, but there's this niggling feeling that it's going to be FM3 with warmed over graphics and physics.

Giving T10 the benefit of the doubt though, I can only imagine the reason they're sticking with fictional/relatively dull real-world tracks is because of licensing difficulties.

The handling model is much more than FM3+

As for the tracks, yes it's disppointing that Silverstone is the "old" silverstone, but it still looks fantastic.

The physics feel a lot better than FM3, just being able to keep it in a straight line is a joy in itself.

as far as i know track owners don't mind their tracks in games so its not the licensing that's the issue.. the issue is that it takes them around 1 year to create/test track

so they can only do this much.. plus i swear i've read somewhere about the size of each track so there's always a limit of how much tracks they can fit on the dvd's

The tracks are a sticking point for me too I don't like the majority of FM3s and the new ones seem to follow those rather than the likes of Suzuka, Maple Valley and Road Atlanta. I wasn't overly impressed with the flawlessness of the sound once the music was muted.

They are cruel tempting me by putting the Tesla in the launch pack.

It was always a track I drove a lot. Although so long as the game has Nord I don't really care too much
