got my LCE copy today from shop
comparing to demo - big difference,at least for me,demo must have been some early beta or something,retail release just doesnt have that strange feeling
and what a good game..sure,some glitches and mistakes,but overall - very good,didnt expected that tbh
and sound....mmmmmm...music to my ears...my GF already hates me LOL
there is OcUK club i heard,or i am mistaken?
 
Just as I was about to post slagging off Royal Mail for not getting it to me today, the door bell goes :D

Anyone figure out what the mystery import car is yet? If it's anything worth bothering with I might nip into FM3 and buy it first :)

[edit] To answer my own question, it looks like it's the De Lorian. I'll confirm after I've done the import.

Oh another thing if anyone else has the Kinect setup do you have to have yours closer to you than you would in a normal kinect game as thats what I am finding its a bit odd that it doesn't need as much space to work.

Well it appears that I'm not getting the code, apparently they have a problem with the system and it rolled back the customers details, in my case by 5/6+ years and used an email address from then which I've not had for many years - I only realised this when I tried to log into my account and it said it did not exist. Now they say they've run out of codes but try again next Wednesday!

Not over amused, I don't oder from them very often but the last 2 orders have been messed up one way or another - I think I'd now rather miss out on their DLC extras and avoid the hastle.

I have not moved my Kinect from where it usually is and it works flawlessly, I had to ratchet up the sensitivity in the options though.
 
Has anyone else got the Fanatec GT2 with the shifter, if so does the shifter work for them?

It doesn't work for me :(. Assuming it's something that needs to be fixed with a patch.
 
Well Rainforest failed me, didn't turn up. Got on to their customer services and got my postage refunded, also got £3 back as they dropped the price today. So £6 better off, but no game :( Hope it comes tomorrow now.

Anyone else having trouble redeeming stuff and accessing anything online? Just timed out trying to redeem the launch pack. Now its telling me the key is used, but I don't have the content :(
 
Am I being dumb? I've got difficulty on Custom with no aids but I can't see how to up the AI difficulty. Is this just for the first championship?

It adjusts itself, I won the first race by 20 seconds, then they were within a second or two in the next race and since then it's been fairly bumper to bumper in most races.

On a different note: Do I need Gold Live to get the big shot images to upload to Forzamotorsport.net? It's moaning i'm not connected when I am, so I figured it may need Gold?

I knocked out the first round of races while the wife was on the phone. Good fun so far. I'm definitely converted to cockpit view - it feels much better to me this time round. The graphics are considerably better than FM3. Everything looks much more alive.
