Each xbox needs it's own XBL account, a copy of the game and the same DLC as the master xbox. LCE is required to get the included DLC, otherwise it shows the missing cars as VW Boras on the edge screens.
 
woo, got my first world record \o/

managed #1 on both versions of le mans in B class, and i beat the #2 time on le mans old by 2 seconds :D
also got 2nd on le mans old in C class (#1 chevelle though)
in all those cases im one of the few drivers not using TCS, ABS or stability

season pass was never included in the LCE i have no idea where people get this from? and no you will not get the LCE cars as far as i know and the "pre-order" cars like m1/cooper etc will be released later(end of 2011/start of 2012) also the season pack gives you 6 "free" feature DLC's.. which saves you some MS PTS if you want to purchase each pack - 570PTS per pack or 2.4k for 6 packs
 
Rival is brilliant. Thinking back to the fun and games we used to have trying to run a time trial competition on here in FM3, with everyone having to post their times by hand, it is just so much better to have everything on there on the screen.

Coupled with the car club, meaning you can essentially be friends with people you aren't friends with, it's just excellent.

I've just set some times in various rivals events; most are rubbish, but hey ho! Spent about half an hour trying to beat SS Mackey in the R8 LMS Le Mans event. I did it in the end. I had to get a clean lap to beat them, and I must be utterly rubbish at the course because their time was from a standing start and I was doing flying laps. I'd be ahead until about halfway round, at which point it got a bit contentious, so there must be a corner about halfway which I make a rubbish job of.

It's 560 per pack, so it's basically 3360 (~£28) vs 2400 (~£20). Worth it if you intend to be at all invested in the game for the long haul.

yeah I did not remember the exactly value in MS points.. ;) pretty close tho.. I'm still considering the season pass..

The ones you're missing are the football field and the benchmark track... Maybe just have to keep an eye out for them when they get released as DLC.
 
Yeah I did. Is there a code in the box?

Tesco said they didn't post the game on the website so I assumed I wasn't getting it release day so went out and bought it. I hope I don't have to open the second box.

yeah its in the pre-order box, there's a booklet and an card with 2 codes one for the m5 pack/theme and one for the two tracks
 
So what's a good car to get? I went with a Citroen C1 at the start and need a new car, this is decent but get overtaken easily on a track with hardly any turns, so need a new one :P

Form a few lvls you should have a few new cars to try out, what kind of things do you like/enjoy to drive in the games? Anything in particular you are after? By lvl 8-9 you should have a good 100k to spend, visit the community section each day for 3-5k also!

ah ok cool, well thats nice to know :) I'm not too far in atm, level 5 maybe? And I got a few cars but i prefer more sporty cars and these are muscle cars and other odd ones :P

You'll probably get offered them as time goes on, but you could also join the OcUK car club and get some of the shared cars for usage (You obviously can't tune or paint anything on them as they are members cars that are shared) which should give you some of your exotica fix until you get some of your own :)

Looking good mate, very good! if you want a hand with the tuning, lemme know, always enjoy tuning up something thats MEANT to get it's arse out!! :D
