Forza 4

I've been put off rivals a bit on account of sucking at it! Finished the world tour now, though, so tempted to come back to it and alternate rivals with races off the event list.

I have to say I'm all for clean racing, though. The AI in single player is driving me mental. The amount of times I brake to avoid ramming someone as I approach a corner only to have someone behind attempt a PIT manoveur on me

It's just that on GTP, there are countless racing series running at different specs and skill levels, lots of community organisation and commitment from people in Europe as well as America.

In Forza whilst they have the capacity for liveries to create fantastic looking racing series with their own identity, the community effort just doesn't seem to be there so much.

I also feel that random online multiplayer racing is far better in GT5, the ability to talk without a microphone and the general attitude of the drivers is so much more honourable than those in Forza.

It's frustrating that both games miss such important pieces of one another that they both feel incomplete.

Is it worth organizing a not too serious single make race for say tomorrow night. just pick a car and a class (that most people can afford or have) and that gives each person a chance to buy a tune and a paint. Then just race a few tracks.
There's no point in jumping straight in to organising a series.
I'm TheJackal GN if you want to add me.

Im all up for an organised race or event, I've done no online racing yet. I did try and join a OcUK Club race but couldn't get an invite. I've had a bash at every Rival event and will return to them once I've got the SP achievements out of the way. Ive been avoiding random online racing because of the lack of clean driving, that said i wouldn't mind trying the other online modes, cat and mouse, tag and soccer.

I think we're full :/

Time to axe some people? We've got some folk in there at, like, level 9 and 13 and whatnot... Not convinced they're playing much.

I'll boot up later on and kick some people.

I'd love to but I'm heading down to London tomorrow so I can't. I know, excuses excuses!

Go for it though. Don't think anyone's been online for a while so there should be a fair few who are interested.

i dont play anymore either.. :| its just not MUCH of an update from fm3 for me.. still a lot of options missing.. still cant customize my cars as much as i want and all that.. i feel limited :)

Try looking outside of OcUK then. There's a bunch of sites out there dedicated to fun and organised Forza events.

Cheers added you.
How about we say the ~Renault Megane at B500?
Once you have a car ready, say so on here(even post a pic if you have a nice livery) and we will see how many we have interested at about 6pm tomorrow.

btw I have sent a request for the car club too.
Plus I have some vinyls in my Storefront that I did in FM3. Will do some full liveries too.

What would be nice is an OCUK race championship, that would be interesting and worth paying attention to, but as with most things, it's likely to end up impossible to organise as no one will ever be around on one particular night of the week.

Bit gutted I will miss out on the 458 challenge and the lp 570

I take it the F10 M5 is in the normal version?

Aye I wasn't going to pay £60 for it. They still haven't sorted out the sound engine either my new console does it on FM3 and I could hear it in the FM4 Demo, but at least in FM4 there are tangible improvements elsewhere as compensation.

Don't know why people buy racing games if they don't want to race other people, just AI. Surely after all these years, finally being in a position to play online with other people, absent lag, is like a dream and people should be taking advantage of it.
