Forza 6 announced

I feel exactly the same. I think I'll be waiting for reviews and quite possible a price drop. Unless I fall to temptation and just buy it :rolleyes:

I think they will probably start tier 8 at around 11k points when they add the extra tiers before the FM6 launch otherwise nobody would get the tier 8 reward car.

I've been enjoying Horizon 1, pretty much completed it now. I cant get the win 10 online rally stages as nobody is playing online, but it's not needed for the reward program.

I just need to login to the game for another 35 days and hope they sort out the DLC in the reward program to show properly, then that one is complete.

I bought Forza 3 again for £5, when that turns up I need the all gold achievement to complete that one, i gave up early on 3 hopefully i got gold in a lot of the races previously or that will take a while!

Then I need to buy 100 more cars in Horizon 2 and everything is ready for FM6 :)
 
The problem with Forza 5 was it was rushed for release and just seemed to be incomplete. Having said that the cars handled well and it looked pretty good. I'm sure 6 will be an more complete package and I've decided to go for the digital ultimate edition for all the extra bits.
 
I pre-ordered the ultimate edition yesterday, roll on September 10th.

Forza 3 turned up, i have 40% of the career left to get gold on, then buy 160 more cars to complete everything on that game.
 
Caving and buying the limited edition xbox one, with forza 6 and forza horizon 2.. i cant hack being on ps4 with no decent racers like the forza series.

either that or just buy the standard black console and wait til this is released to purchase it. and play horizon 2 in the mean time. decisions :D

Hmm they've just announced they are doing some rather strange perk type things including an option of making your car more powerful, giving your car more grip or letting you disable collisions for the first lap of the race.

Sounds weird.
 
I think the mods might make the single player a bit less boring.

If you use any mods your lap time is at the very bottom of the leaderboard below dirty laps, so they wont make any difference to hot lapping or online.

I thought it was a bit strange as well. There is also the ability to hamper the car by using Dare mods.
 
As an old Forza fan (playing since very first Forza) those new mods in game - i can see them just as some extras,which you not need to use,but i must say that some of those mods look really interesting,especially if you have set opponents on unbeatable ;)
They cant be used in MP or hot lapping,so no problem here - T10 trying to make single player little bit more interesting i guess,for some it might work,for some not.I will try them and just check how much of an impact they have

Will be getting this. Only just got tired of FH2 which has most definitely earned its price when i bought it. The only thing that annoys me about this release, well the Forza franchise in general at the moment is the hub credits. I don't mind getting rewards at the Hub for progress but people on facebook groups are getting like 12 cars and 11 million credits to start with. WTH...
 
I actually trying not to get 25mln credits,as it will be to easy to start F6,which i dont want
Cars - ok,but i dont want credits,so trying not to purchase 300+ cars in older F games
 
I'm starting with 12 cars & 25 million as well.

I'm Tier 8 with 11,900 reward points (will be 12,000 when T10 sort out the FH1 DLC)

I'll be buying classics with the credits, so should be able to buy 4-5 cars with that.
 
There's one feature that's make or break for me buying this. Remember in f3 & 4 where if you set a clean lap on any game mode you rose up the global leaderboard? This how I play it to try and get as high as possible across the global l leaderboard. If anyone knows (or cares :P) if this returns please post up!
