Forza Horizon 3 just shown at E3

So I finally have it running. Had to go to apps and features and reset it. But with a 4790k and a 980Ti I can't even maintain 60 fps on medium settings. What the hell

EDIT: ok set priority to low and affinity core 0 and seemed to have improved massively. Up settings to high but still dipping into mid to low 50s in surfers paradise

H shifter works, actually it also works without the clutch and it allows me to select gears.

Even on the high preset im barely making 40fps, something just isn't right. Tried affinity, tried priority, tried both, disabled AV, disabled shadowplay, nothing, still crap.

Gonna try a clean driver install.
 
I am using the TH8A.. is that it why it won't work? I can dig out the old shifter but I've got the cables velcro'd to the bottom so they don't keep coming loose.

No refunds allowed if you have already launched the game is what they are telling me on chat.

Also downloading and reinstalling the game fixes things, also it might be your connection that is causing all the problems lol

Still crap performance, even at medium settings im barely making 45fps and its really choppy, lots of frame drops some bits are less than 30fps... my pc should be doing better than this right?

3570k @ 4.4, gtx 970 stock, 16gb ram and a sammy 850 evo

In general can anyone give views on performance at 4K with how the 1070 is against a 1080 GPU. Have a 1070FTW ordered as wasnt convinced the general difference in these cards at 4K res was worth an extra £230+ (well for having to lower some settings but get a similar experience).

Will the 1070 currently manage 4K fixed at 30 with all set to MAX?

Spoon, locked fps at all? the low cpu/affinity/priority fixes are worth a shot if you haven't already. Mine is quite stable. just not mega high fps.

Mine dips to 20's around the festivals and cities all the time. My dynamic/scaling graphic options are off and frame smoothing. Driver version? I'm on 372.90, try .70 if all else fails.

Yep, Ultimate doesn't have it all, yes expansion pass.

It's pushing my R9 290 to the limit; the VRAM usage is almost maxed (3876MB). Mind you the temps are low so the GPU isn't being absolutely hammered.

That's with every visual setting maxed, but at 1080p mind you. With the 30FPS cap on it runs extremely smooth and is rock solid at 30. 60FPS cap was bad. Frequent drops to low 50s and bad stutter.

Not had any stutters since that moment.

Working fine on High/1440p now. Not sure if I can get an overlay on Windows games? Is it disabled or something now?
