I'm getting a horrendous bug where the sky/lighting seems to be flickering, I could swear it's messing with the textures too, it's like the game is cycling through various states of the surface conditions. I'm not normally sensitive to motion sickness or flickering lights but it knocked me a little sick last night trying to play.

I feel like the sense of speed has been upped quite a bit in this one, the handling/braking feels slightly different to me as well, it should be interesting getting used to the new feel and tuning again.

It’s an addictive game. There are some stunning locations. The 20 minute gauntlet race up and down the mountain and into a sandstorm was brilliant. Nearly have enough to buy the castle, I want my free daily superspins

So has anyone tried the Goliath race trick yet? Apparently you can set your car to auto drive (keep W key or controller accelerate pressed) and if you do all 50 laps (takes 9+ hours) you end up with up to 3 million xp (depending on your setup) and up to 1000 mastery points.

it's using/abusing the accessibility options.

If anyone is wondering about how to complete the daily challenge for a clean lap in rivals. It turns out, it’s actually not a clean lap. The easiest way to do it do a drag race and rewind in the middle. It will then complete the challenge.

Also has anyone managed an arcade event yet? There just never seems enough people to get the challenges done.

Not to mention the distance for some of them. I was trying a drift one in the desert on the west of the map and the final challenge was a drift zone at the top of the volcano so lost 3 minutes just driving up to it.

can you not use fast travel?

I didn’t actually think to try fast travel as you can’t do it in normal events but maybe it works for arcade. I will have to try it next time.

Do you have that house bought that lets you fast travel anywhere?
