ok, first attempt at something other than a window tint and its taken me nearly 3 hours now. i'm still trying to get it on the roof to line up 'just' right but needs a bit more tweaking.
first attempt as i said so please no harsh crits. don't think i could take it LOL!
The car however does Maple Valley in 1:27.956, which would seem to be the scoreboards #2 A-Class Lotus 240 on that track, a phenomenal 0.006 of a second behind #1.

there's some for 500k buyouts on the AH if anyones intrested
Major thread revival time! Inspired by a post in the FM3 thread I thought I would show off my BTCC E36 3 Series. Based on the 1992 car driven by Harvey/Soper and used in a single make series me and afew mates created. Its not quite finished, the dragon is abit pants and Im missing some of the sponsors from the sides because I cant find a decent picture that shows them in detail.
Pete19, love the Listerine M3, I remember Steve Soper driving those well.
This is my first ever custom paint job, please go easy!
Needs a little tweaking around the "hips" as the curves don't quite line up properly in places. Wheels need toning down a bit too.
I thought the Martini decals would be a real sod but actually they didn't take long once I got the hang of layering and positioning.
Then I worked out how to group the layers into one decal which was most joyous.
More to come soon, working on lots of designs at the moment.
Ta very much. Liking the 911 T. Currently have a spiffing class A 911 T, bit lacking top end but it handles like a dream. Have another custom paintjob, this time a Scion TC in Jack Daniels livery.
Please tell me I'm not the only person who gets obsessive over making a design "right"
More tweaks to the Martini Porsche 911:
Rebuilt rear vinyls
Repositioned rear vinyls
Rebuilt "stripe" vinyls
Tweaked colours
Redesigned Martini logo
White mirrors
Repainted wheels
Sorted out the messy blue stripe overlap on the bumpers
