Forza2 Release date & Track list

As far as I'm aware only the 360 wheels will work.

im more dissapointed that there can only be upto 8 cars in a race, they done that apparently to maintain a 60fps frame rate, bit pathetic really when you look back on the days of Amiga 500 and you can get 21 cars or whatever it was on Microprose Grand Prix, graphics look quite average as well looking at the shakey cam videos.

Still though, I need a decent racing game for the 360 so I will buy it, I just think it will get boring very quick

I found that with the first one. Lost interest quickly and sold it after a month. Thought PGR2 was a lot better TBH.

Theyve announced due to development times and commiting to MAY release they will offer additional tracks and cars for download.

No mention though if the content will be at a price or free.

It could possibly work with the keyboard/PS2 style converter adapter recently released but wether it works with FFB etc i havnt heard...
 
Excellent news, the first Forza game is still my top racing game of all time.

Got it the same time as the last GT game on the ps2 and hardly even touched Gran Tourismo after i'd played abit of Forza. For me it was just so much more real.

Online was amazing too. After a few laps of single player I went online and from that point onwards never played sp again.

Also if you got bored of that you could sit around in the garage and give your car a fancy paintjob, which was always nice to showoff with online.
 
:cool: im also looking forward to Colin Mcrae, and the latest sega (racing?) game.

None of the racing games apart from PGR have got my juices flowing tbh so far.

Are we likely to see any F1 style games on the '360?

yep, just started playing it again on my 360 aswell :)

as long as forza 2 is as good as forza 1 on the xbox i'll be well happy.

looks like i'll be getting GTR before forza 2 if the release dates are correct for both

That's good news since I only put about 4 hrs into it myself. Good to know it was worth playing. I actually found it pretty hard after turning the driving aids off (on a pad not wheel) so I think that put me off.
 
i finished most of the singleplayer races, then moved on to the multiplayer mostly in B class & A class. i got invited to join a couple of good car clubs and spent hours tuning the elise's and a few other car's to beat the 'fastest in class' cars.

i must have played it for 150hrs+ online

after playing PGR3 and TDU, it took a good few hours to get used to forza again, 1st corner, hit wall - car destroyed etc.. lol :D
 
I loved the first one but the structure of the races and the progression of the game kind of spoilt it for me :(

Still remember my RS6 in the original game, damn that was fast for a big old estate :cool:

They better let me start with and AE86 Sprinter Trueno though, thats been tradition for me since the GT series :cool:
 
Looking forward to new photos and media of this over the next few weeks and months.

Love the idea of having your own custom car and paint job online and seems a great amount of thought has went into the options for races and the sheer amount of scoreboards, should be a seriously good game online.

Not many tracks there, and they are the same tracks as Forza 1... nothing new? I wanted more road tracks, not just race circuits. Not very impressed if that's all there is!
