Fostering Update

Wow is all I can say. I'm very impressed to be honest. It sound like you can get a real handful, and also like it takes sooo much effort and commitment to keep going and get on the right side of the foster kids.

A friends mum used to foster, but she aimed a lot lower and went for toddlers. :D

Less likely to cause damage/abscond etc!

Much respect Huddy. It can't be easy for you or your family. I'm assuming it must take a while to adjust everytime you have a new child move in?

It's hard when you come home from work and there is an extra person you don't know. I tend not to be able to relx. It's like someone has invaded your privacy, even though you have consented to it.

Then there i the freedom to walk around the house as you please, I must remember to wear something when I'm in bed as I tend to get up and walk around naked. Something you can't do with other kids present. :D

Big respect Huddy, not sure I could do what your doing.

I remember when my uncle and auntie adopted three children (4,7 and 9 years old, brothers and sisters) after they couldn't have children of their own. About a year after my auntie decided she couldn't/didn't want the kids and ran away to Spain, I remember at the time my uncle some how managed to bring up the three kids while handling a divorce and running his own business. That was 7 years ago and now the kids are all doing really well, he’s still on his own running his business and looking after them, it amazes me.
