K well I will give it a go and see, what is a micro fiber cloth and what sorta place sells them?
good deal that. i normally buy them from my local supermarket but they dont always have them in stock, a good tip when using them is to wet 1 with warm water, wipe screen clean then buff with a dry 1 to remove streaks.Ok thanks for the heads up speedy and setter!
Was gonna pay more and order direct from 3M but instead took the skinflint option and bought four large microfibre cleaning cloths from auction for £4.00 inc
At work we use standard hand towel roll and it works great with a bit of alcohol/soap combined cleaner.
dampen a micro fibire cloth with plain water, go over the screen with the dampened cloth and let it dry on its own. It comes up like new with no streaks.
Cheers for the heads up on Micro-Fibre Speedy as for the past three years I have been whipping out my special soft black T-Shirt which I guess is almost microfibre but my clients laugh at me!Do it my way guys

Hopefully these cloths I get from auction are pukka and will be better for the task
I don't think speedy's method will work as he described but that is why I ordered some cloths to see. As already stated I always found it best doing a quick wipe then a quick dry/buff with a soft cloth, this seems to give the best non streaking result.
If Speedy's way does indeed work as he described I will commend him but I cant see how microfibre is that different from my old black T-shirt?
P.S: Did someone mention a protective coating on an LCD? Because I notice my T-Shirt gets little shiney patches on it after buffing? I wonder if that could be a protective coating I have rubbed off?
