I don't understand why brits get so worked up by spiders in australia - for the locals it's scary of course but that's because they're all beach bums and never wear shoes.

Coming from the UK and growing up with 3-pin plugs I have a pathological fear of going anywhere bear foot and I promise you standing on a deadly spider is much the same as standing on a harmless one.

Now the drop bears, that's another story, scary as hell!

What if the spiders get wise and try to move over an claim asylum? How are we supposed to cope then?!

It'd be far better to evacuate people from Australia (making sure to do full checks to ensure there's no spiders posing as humans) then glass the place.
