This. I got to part way into season 4 and couldn't bring myself to carry on watching.

Strangely I once years ago watched a couple of episodes from season 1 and thought exactly what you said. One day I had nothing else to watch but found Season 2, first couple of episodes still felt like that but towards the end of the season I started getting into it and now I've watched all the way upto latest episode and quite like it, wouldn't say its an amazing show but it does grow on you.
