Id definately be more likely to point out the spelling mistake in the title.
Wouldn't last long at all :
1. You'd expect never to run out of ammo.
2. You'd expect to be able to run constantly without ever running of breath.
3. The noise would completely unnerve you, especially when you realised you couldn't turn it down.
4. You'd get shot while wondering -
why the teams aren't even
why your squad isn't respawning
why grenades can't kill tanks
why the bad guys don't have red markers over their heads
why you aren't regenerating when you hide
why those idiot american troops are shooting at you
why just one bullet made you fall down and leak blood everywhere
You get the idea

Thats exactly what I'd do. I'm sure I'd get killed more quickly though. I think fps games would make you subconciously brave.

^ you say that, but at things like paintballing, i've always found myself rushing and tk'ing. I suppose in real life it may be different.

In paintballing I get too carried away I start lopping bits off of trees to use as camo

I was in the army.... and we were on exercise in Catterick...
I was there with my SA-80 and the enemy started shooting (blanks) so i did a forward/left command role and started popping shots lol and then rolled forward and landed into a prone position and start crawling and firing! I then ran and jumped and started shooting my rifle with one hand like Rambo... needless to say i was running non stop for an hour after that and as punishment the whole platoon had to crawl through a dyke holding our rifles in the air! This was at 8am in December lol!
Oh, we were in teams of 4 and i ran ahead aswell lol and when my own team started shooting, my little escapade caused me to be in the line of fire of my buddies.... so theoretically... if they were real rounds then i woudl have been dead because FF on & FF off doesnt work in the real world.
Everyone was laughing at the time of my little comedy exercise but when they were in the dyke and i was off running ... as you can imagine my name was mud! lol
FPS games are nothing like the Army trust me! If you did what you did in games you would be dead in seconds. Everyone camps in the real world, waiting for the enemy to make the first open move.

Yes... because paintballing is soooooo similar to getting shot at for real where even a single stray bullet could end it all for you.
Like I said, unless youre some sort of retard or youre feeling rather suicidal then you dont do stupid crap when your life depends on it.
