FPS Capped at 60?

Windows 7 Home Premium RTM.

Vsynch is disabled within the CCC.

Games have Wait for Vsynch disabled.

Any ideas?

What games do you play mate? What settings are you playing them on? Is it capped at EXACTLY 60 FPS or does it move above and below?? Is it just one game or a bunch?

The game is NBA 2K10.

It stays at 60 - dead on. I am using Fraps to note the FPS.

Im using a TFT so 60 should be fine anyway, right?

I know you said you have Vsync disabled in CCC but you sure you haven't disabled it within the game options aswell? You could try that. If that doesn't work then you could try a different game, NBA could have a 60 FPS limit. Sorry for the late reply.

I seem to get this with Oblivion & Batman they sit at 60 and 62 respectively and a few others. Using a 4870X2. Doesnt really bother me but I think I should be getting a lot more than this. Playing at 1920 by 1080

I wouldn't worry about it because you aren't going to gain anything by going above 60fps except more heat from the card.

Only worry if it drops below 20 fps lol

The real question is: why do you care? I cap all my games at 60 just so my cards stay as cool as possible whilst gaming..

Some games engines force the FPS to your refresh rate.
Could be that.
