FPS DPI mouse settings,

I've been fps gaming for over a decade and for the past few years I've been using as high a DPI I can.

Currently on my Steelseries Sensei, I'm using 11,400 dpi; which is the highest it can go on this mouse. It also depends on windows sensitivity too.

The in-game sensitivity also needs to be considered.

I use the 11,400 dpi when using my desktop too and it's really comfortable. People will think it's crazy using this amount of DPI but after playing a certain game for almost a decade, using such a high DPI hasn't done me any wrong.

You just need to balance the high DPI with windows and in-game sensitivity, and your mouse will be incredibly smooth and easy to use.

a lot of quakers use mouse accel

but they use very low sense and mouse accel is for twitch firing!

I tried that a while back and it doesn't work. Open a game; Play it and run the mousemovement.exe and the values won't be 1:1.

I don't notice any diff if you were to turn enhance pointer precision off anyway. I think that script is some kind of placebo.

Used 2200 since I got my cm sentinel advance ii, it goes upto 5600 but can't get used to anything higher so kind of pointless really also bought my mouse on the gimmick of a screen which I've had off for nearly a year still like it tho

Unless you have low sens (lets say 20cm+ for a 360) there probably isn't much benefit from DPI in the 5000+ range. I'm fairly high sens (around 5.5cm for a 360 last time I checked) so am happy around the 2000 mark.

Yeah I use this setup with my Zowie EC1 Evo - best mouse I have ever used. I did buy a zowie swift to go with it but prefer my large glide7 mousepad instead.
