Hi,
just brought a brand new pc specs are:
yzen 5 2600, AMD B450 Motherboard, Up to 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 240GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 7.1 High Definition Audio, 600W Bronze Rated PSU, Windows 10 Home Advanced 64Bit

I’m getting roughly 110 FPS but randomly it jumps to around 20 a few times during a game, which is causing it to freeze. Can anyone help? Thanks

Was this a pre-built OcUK system (600W bronze)?

Have you been monitoring your temps at these times?

Idle and load temps of your CPU and GPU would be useful to have.

Download Core Temp and GPUz - for monitoring your temps.

Perhaps run some dedicated stress tests - Prime95 (blend will be fine) for CPU using Core Temp - a 5 minute burn will be suffice. And Furmark for GPU - again 5 minute burst while watching GPUz. If temps in either test start going North of sanity terminate the test.

If temps are OK - we may do a combo to pee off the PSU.

*On phone: GPU temp is high for Fortnite.

What's your card brand/model and how long was it running to reach 83?

Run furmark with GPUz - and give live temp. If there's a problem temps will shoot up rapidly.

Furmark running for 5 mins says max 72
Gpuz says current temp is still 83
GPU temps seem okay.

Ideally need to test CPU under strsss now.

If that passes you'll need to run memtest HCI to test your memory. I'll give you links when I'm home (unless someone else appears).

If that all pass you'll need to contact OcUK in Customer Services Forum.
