FPS suggestions

Ideally, with controller support.

I'm looking for a decent single player game that's focused around story more than anything. I love Bioshock, my favorite FPS story of all time, completed all 3 of them.

It's only dawned on me after I couldn't find a decent FPS to play haha.

Something cheesy will do :D Something easy and fun.

I think I know the sort of thing you are looking for. You want to be immersed in a lush and intelligent 3d graphic world, the sort of world's that we may all still be enjoying in 'high(er) brow art comic books had video games not being invented, full to the brim with style, humour and interesting concepts, and of course with some pulse racing and addictive gameplay!

After Bioshock, you surely want to check out Bioshock 2, although I wasn't overly convinced by Bioshock Infinite.

If you have already dusted Bioshock 2, then if you haven't played it already, Dishonored is really a must. When it first game out I thought, " meh.....Bethesda = Skyrim = Fall Out = personality of a lump horse **** = not for me". But I never enjoyed an immersive single player experience like Dishonored for a long long time. Some really cool comic strip industrial era sci-fi concepts in this game to match the originality in its gameplay.

Not really a FPS as such, but Alan Wake is another rich, stylish, and Steven King-esque story lead experience which I enjoyed, although before I would recommend Alan Wake, I would suggest Deus EX Human Revolution. The control scheme can be a bit clunky for this one but some great futuristic dystopia story telling to be had here, with quality RPG interaction between characters to boot. One gripe I would have with Deus EX HR is that it is one of those games with too much 'readable lore'. I understand that 'Jensen', the games protagonist is a corporate security/detective type guy, but I don't really want to do lots of reading via snooping around other NPC's files when I game, but a lot of insight into the story behind Deus Ex is contained within Emails, PDAs, Electronic News Bulletins etc. Not too much of a problem if it wasn't for the volume of not so relevant ' information' that is also to be found there.

all of the above games fully support gamepad (360 style)
