Fractal Design Node 202

That is a gorgeous case and would be a wicked emulation system.

I don't think OcUK will stock Fractal for a long long time. OcUK said their quality control was sub par
 
Glad there's a thread on this. This will be my next case. Looks absolutely gorgeous.

This will be compared to Silverstone FTZ01, but IMO Fractal actually make better cases. I used to be a fan of Silverstone, but their quality has really gone downhill.

I spoke to a rep on live chat yesterday who said you will not stock the node or any fractal cases due to the returns policy?

if this isn't the case (<-- no pun intended) then is there a release date?

If you do i will 100% buy one!!

£50 quid extra for a 450w SFX PSU is a bit steep. Most people wouldn't even use 200w in a system like that so a cheapo 250w SFX or a Pico PSU Would work out loads cheaper. The design is nice tho, money here for 1 maybe 2 when they land.

Best of luck running a Titan X or 980 Ti on a cheapo SFX PSU then. It's billed as a console killer case, so it's geared up for a top-end graphics card hence the PSU option.

Don't need it, don't get the PSU, but the option is there (much like Silverstone's Sugo SG05 to 08)
 
Will OCUK stock other Fractal cases again ? As im looking to get the R5 in Windowed White to replace my FT-02
 
Emailed a rep @ Fractal over the weekend; they advised that the case will be available in Europe in approx. 8 weeks time.
 
I emailed graham @ Fractal again asking if they could send me the dimensions so i could model in Sketchup - they said no (which was expected) :P he also advised that water cooling will not fit and is not needed to which i said challenge accepted :D

Actually, this case competes more with our ML07, which also has plastic outer shell and is around the same price range. I am confident our product quality is not inferior to theirs given the same prices.

The FTZ01's exterior on the other hand, is built out of aluminum unibody with sand-blasted and anodised finish so it has much better quality!

Any time frame on getting the Fractal Designs in-stock ?

I have been waiting for over a month and a half for the White Window R5 to come in stock.

If it is reasonable , ill place an order as the listed price is the cheapest i have seen around.
