Fractal Design Refine

so the price in the US is $550.

Thats quite the keen price for a chair and puts them in the Herman Miller or specialist office chair price range.

A big ask for your first chair.

Though I have to say, the more I see it. The more I like it! I love the subtle grey hue and the white palette they’ve used.

it’s definitely the colour I would get too.

Trouble is, where can you test it? I think that's pretty critical.

I went to John Lewis recently to test a bunch of different chairs, and didn't really like any of them, even the expensive and well-rated Herman Millers.

Agreed, a chair is a long-term investment that you will use daily, it is important to be able to test it, and as @mattpj stated that price puts the FD Refine in Herman Miller and Steelcase territory and I would go with the latter in that case.

Also interested in this, for the price seems to be good option if you want a new chair rather than a refurb
Quite a good review here -

From the Fractal website there is one of the retailers that is actually selling these, can't mention the name.

Oooh a review.

I’m going to enjoy watching this.

I’m finding the design more and more alluring.

Mine arrived today, black / dark fabric, very easy to setup, coming from Noble Epic the Fractal is far better

Looks decent, with a decent warranty that i reckon you could even trust being Fractal.

But i can't see mine dying anytime soon being a decent one already, and i barely use atm.
