Fractal North, case of the year contender

Seems to be Fractal rather than the retailer - they keep saying end of the month, then gets pushed back to end of next month, etc.

Personally given up on it.
Yeah, i am getting that impression so i can hardly blame the retailer for that. It is frustrating though to be told end of next month each time when the money has already left your bank account, but not wanting to cancel in case you end up back of the line!

Seems like Fractal are really struggling with stock at the moment on certain lines of theirs. Lead times in the months not weeks since late last year. I must have been very lucky, managed to pick mine up just at launch but they very quickly sold out (same day?).

That’s a shame it is taking so long for Fractal to fulfil at least the least the pre-orders. Soon Corsair will have their wooden panels for 4000/5000 series available, which may bring more manufacturers onboard of wooden panels.

Ordered one from here the beginning of Feb so hoping to be fulfilled in these next restocks. I’ve had my current case for about 18 years!

Just wondering, has anyone that has ordered one from OCUK received one as yet?
I ordered mine (White, Mesh) on the 3rd Jan, contacted support in early Feb, and got told it would be March, now coming to the end of March so guess it's just going to keep rolling forward?

Really like the look of this case, so don't really want to build in anything else, but parts are just sitting here at the moment waiting to go in something!

Been waiting for this case since the first reviews.
Finally spotted it in stock, at £129 and ordered.
Can't mention competitors.
The case is very nice, just few minor "issues", but not enough to dislike it a tiny bit.
1 - extra cut out for cables at the top;
2- removable front bracket (pain to install fans and assume it will be bad if trying to remove/replace one once everything else is installed;
3- removable top bracket would be a plus in some situations, but not as useful as thew previous 2.

Plus, considering the case looks pleases you, the thickness of the metal sheet used is good (won't feel like it will distort or vibrate easily). Can't fault any material used. Using the right fans everything runs cool. Decided to test the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE and I'm very happy with it.
Is possible to use T30s at the front, between the front bracket and the dust filter. Will be 1mm gap at best, but didn't affect noise or performance here.
For those using shorter GPUs, the fans can be installed "inside" the case, but my TUF 4080 allow only 2 or 3mm at best before touching the front bracket.
As few lucky owners (who got one ages ago) mentioned before, the RTX 4000 series can fit easily. Using the supplied adapter would push the adapter slightly against the side panel. Using an ATX 3.0 cable should be a breeze.

My charcoal with glass arrived the other day, I love it. I think I might love it even more than the white version and that’s saying a lot. My collection of Fractal cases is becoming an issue for my loft space though haha.

I wish Noctua made more variants of their fans. Black surrounds but with the brown fan blades would work amazing for this case.
