Fractal with side window??

Is there a window for the fractal r4 available from ocuk? I have had a look all over the site but couldn't find it?

I doubt it, they're designed for being quiet and have a thick heavy coating on the inside of the panels.

Im just deciding on a case and really like the r4 but was considering the 650d as I really would like a window. I may just hold on a bit longer though and see about the r4.

They are making/have made one, not sure if it is coming out or if it has been and gone. It is on their website at least. If you email them they reply quite quickly.

I just dropped my Define R4 side panel on my foot from chest height... Oh walking is so much more fun now.

Would love one of these side panels though. I got the R4 because of the way it looks more than the silence side of it, that is just a bonus.

Yeah I have no issues with noise, I will only really use my pc for gaming so a noisy fan or two is no problem for me!

For those wondering or wanting to know I had this reply direct from Fractal-

Hi Nick

Many thanks for your enquiry on the R4 and window side panel. We will have 2 options for the side panel on the market. 1st will be a unit with panel fitted as standard and second will be to buy an standard non window version and then buy an upgrade panel

These should be available in UK early November when stock lands
