Frank Carson has died.

He was a cracker.

Northern Irish comedian Frank Carson best known for the catch phrases "It's a cracker" and "It's the way I tell 'em", has died aged 85.

I don't know if he means a lot to younger members, but I guess I'm showing my age & to me, he'll be sorely missed.

I had breakfast in a hotel with him a few years ago after a military reunion, was one of them guys who seemed that he didn't ride of his fame and was happy to chat to anyone. He was nothing to do with the reunion but just chatted to a few of the old boys, think he was ex military, and didnt steal the lime light, real shame.
