Freaking out!!!

Yeh, that's a pretty crazy attitude. You don't mess around when it comes to your health. In the small chance it could be something really sinister, the earlier it gets spotted the more chance they have of sorting it.

I've been wiping blood out of my crack and felt like i'm coming down with the Flu for about 8 weeks, as well as other strange digestive issues.

Probably cancer but I aint bothered. I'm insured up to my eyeballs and it's one way to pay off the mortgage. LOL

Go to a different GP, convince them to send you for a full MOT. They will eventually do it if you argue the case. You might have to wait 3 weeks, but it's worth it for peace of mind.

You are crazy.. I would have been down the gp at the first sight of blood.

Is your urine cloudy? As this is very indicative of infection.

If you are under 50 and a non smoker it is very unlikely to be cancer, between 5 and 10 percent chance.

You're doing the right thing getting it checked out though. Can never be too careful with these things and worth it for peace of mind alone.

The camera up your japs eye is not fun though :(

I didn't know, it was bloody, its all cleared up now pretty much. I spoke to my GP today who said they did not suspect cancer, I am in a system that also rules out cancer which is why it is on the same schedule. Still I am in a right state.

Your todger is cursed with an evil spirit. Hack it off and sprinkle it with holy water, then bury it exactly 10ft from a rose bush on a Sunday morning. Usually works.

Or it's an infection. :)

I really am sympathetic having been in your shoes. I'm pretty sure that like me, you will be given the all clear. The waiting is a killer though. Just try to keep yourself busy and your thoughts on other things. This will most likely blow over and will be forgotten soon.

Try to keep your spirits up, I'm sure you'll be OK.

I feel for you. Don't read further if your woried :)

36 hours ago I was on the operating table having a double J stent removed and a 7mm kidney stone lasered. Every trip to the little boys room so far has been crimson and painful. I had the stent for 5 months and during that period there was varying levels of blood in my urine. It's very worrying at first but eventually i got used to that but the stent side effects were terrible. Urghhh so glad it's over. I still have 2 kidney stones left in each kidney but I'm on the waiting list for the shock wave therapy to break them up.

Good luck

get an an a lube applicator rather than just having your wife put it on the strap on, much less chance of doing damage and much more comfy :p

^nothing a good handful of anusol won't fix :p

seriously, how's your fluid intake? myself not so long ago had major stinging and very very smelly down there. lesson learned is 10 years of coffee then nothing but work for 10 hours is'nt good for me. sooo, wake up, pint of water, then every 2½ hours another pint of water works a treat :)

if i was peeing blood and my doc said i needed these things done to me, u think i'd get them done ASAP. and then i'd prolly cry a lot :( get it sorted.

what do you/doctors think caused the stones?

Lack of fluid I suspect mainly drinking black coffee all day long. I now drink a minimum of 4 pints of water a day it does mean going in the middle of the night but I would rather that to ever having another stent. Tbh I can deal with another stone passing and being in agony for a day or two compared to having another stent fitted those things are awful and effect your quality of life. I will say some people don't even notice them others do I read up a lot about them and gathered that it effected me somewhat but others have had worse experiences that I can't even imagine. *shudder*

I'm a great believer in the body does a great job healing itself (within reason of course!) - Heres wishing you all the best bud.

So many different foods influence our bodily functions.

I am on warfarin and a danger sign of bleeding is black poo. One day, it was really black and I panicked and rushed to the hospital for an urgent INR test and examination.

I was there nearly 4 hours and everything was fine. It was only when the doctor asked me what I had eaten, that I remembered I had had 4 big slices of black pudding with my breakfast :D

Tests are tomorrow. I am absolutely bricking it. Although I have no more pain, blood or need to urinate more than normal, I do sometimes feel a 'fullness' in my abdomen when I lie or sit down, and sometimes a dull ache in my scrotum. I dunno if this is meaningful or not, I am suffering from pretty bad anxiety at the moment and appetite has disappeared.

I just hope it's something easily treated and not the C.

I got the fullness and dull ache from a food sensitivity recently. Anxiety is taking you through the wringer!

It does seem that sometimes when I'm not thinking about it, it's not there. It's not all the time anyway and rarely at night or first thing in the morning when I'm half asleep.

Sounds a lot like anxiety, I would have said go for a run or something but probably not a good idea after just recovering from the blood.
