Free 1 Year Subscription to the Microsoft TechNet

We used both Technet and MSDN at my last company. When we first started subscribing Technet was only giving out 180 day trials, but then they started giving out full versions. Therefore I assume these downloads are indeed the full versions.

I'd imagine the package is cheaper than MSDN because the license will be very restrictive.

Edit: In fact, from Microsoft's own technet site

Good work new guy. Yes, i would like to evaluate some microsoft products for an indeterminate amount of time, cheers.

Cheers for this. I tried it and it's letting me do more than 10 keys for windows 7...does it have a limit? Also, I don't really get whether these will still work after a year or 3 months or whatever. If I buy an OS and use one of these keys will it work in a years time basically? Surely not?

Having a good look at the EULA it seems the keys are lifelong keys. They are NOT trial keys as in they will NOT expire.
However, they are meant to be used as a trial purpose so think of it as a trial which does not expire and will always work.
If you use it for more than testing then well thats between you and microsoft

As I already posted and it says clearly on the site, these are NOT trial keys. You are however NOT licensed to use these as you see fit on production machines. They are for testing...
