Free £200

I was going to give a really compelling reason for the money, or simply say gift it to charity, but after reading Schizo's post, it seems pointless as would be hard stretched to find a more worthy recipient.
 
I would put the funds towards a GD monument.

Standing elegantly, sunlight glistening from it's strong and mighty sculpted lines. A simple door, standing there symbolising the mundanity of everyday life; plain, unassuming, strong and functional, yet tinged with a sadness only magnified by the rain cascading from its marble form like the tears of the populace.
Adorning this mighty door would be a portal; a rectangular shape familiar to many but of whose cunning illicits both the banal and also bestial desires to both conform and to defile, but for those who know its secrets it offers an air of mischief unseen by the many. A metaphorical filthy secret handshake.

Standing proud on its pedestal as an enduring legacy of the inanity of GD, watching over the people of Newcastle Under Lyme for all eternity.

Or, give it to Schizo
 
Give him his 200 quid and start again cos it got boring no more self congratulations or shame wallowing.
Ill take 100 quid as it will just cover my hospital bill when I get discharged tomorrow

Give me the £200 and I'll buy £200 worth of Haribo which I won't eat...but I'll burn one pack a day and film it for all those pyromaniacs in here...which could be only me.

Also this thread is quite cringy.
 
I think that's an unfair comment - to have earned the cash the OP obviously has, they aren't stupid; I am sure they would have been aware there would be the begging, the funny and the genuine need for hard cash.

There are so many deserving people/charities out there, all would have benefitted from the OP's generosity, but they came here, made a genuine offer and one that we at OcUK could actually see the subsequent results from.

I don't rate the OP as egotistical, I don't see the thread as 'cringy', as I said before, I wish there were more people like the OP and less judgemental people.

Yup, schizo should get it. I would waste it on stuff I don't need and would forget about it after a while. It would not only treat them to a good meal, but a memory for a lifetime.
 
I'd buy so many pasties, and smash them all on video for all to watch, maybe even a live stream of me smashing £200 worth of pasties.

If the OP genuinely wanted the money to go to a good cause he would have given it to charity rather than come into a overclocking forum and ask strangers why they should get the money. It's as simple as that.

The rest of the thread just turned into a massive cringe fest, Schizo gave his reason as to why he should get the money and that's fair enough but everyone else just jumped on the band wagon and that just made it cringy.

If you do want to help Schizo then start another thread as someone else has already suggested.
 
As my wife is due in 5 weeks time with our son I am being kicked out of the house so our daughter can have my office as her bedroom.

I would use the money to help build my new man cave at the end of the garden. More directly, I would probably use it to pay for the materials so I could build a rocket stove mass heater in there. :)
