Hi Guys,

Just an update, don't think I will be getting this case till new week at some point as the
site currently says they are out of stock and I have not received a dispatch e-mail so I'm
afraid you guys will have to wait a while for the review, as I don't know when I will be
getting the new case.

Hi Guys,

Well I received the case this morning and its amazing. Before I give you an
over view of the case though let me show you the Temp reading I have got from
both my case before and this one.

Temps from my old case after running 3dMark06:

These are the readings I got from the Akasa Venom Voodoo Toxic Care:

As you can see the Temps that I got in the Akasa Venom case are a lot
lower than they were in my previous case.

Below are some pics of the case, like a mini build log:

My Review

When I got this case out of its huge box I noticed straight away that this was
a quality build, everything was so easy with the Akasa case and the cable
management is brilliant, there is plenty of room behind the motherboard tray
to hide all of the cables away out of site. 1 thing you will notice on the pics
is that my 24pin cable is not hidden behind the case that is because it is not
long enough to reach the motherboard if I do this which is no fault of the case.
The case has a build in fan controlled which is amazing and it takes up to
6 fans on the controller.
The case comes with 3 fans and they are HUGE, even though the fans on the
case are huge it is still quiet. There is also room on the side panel for an
additional 4 more fans.
I would recommend buying this case to anyone.
If you do buy this case though make sure you have room for it as its now sat
at the side of my desk due to the fact its that tall I cant push it all the way
back if its under my desk.

All in all I am very impressed with this case and I wouldn't give it up for all
the tea in china, my next upgrade will now be the Akasa Venom Voodoo CPU
Cooler

Nice one, it looks a beast of a case next to your old 690 (simliar colour scheme though). That temperature drop isn't to be sniffed at either.

Congrats again on winning. It is good to see it went to a happy owner and not straight for sale after :)

As a massive akasa fan, I naturally want one of these. i read the bottom has a removable dust filter, but what about the front and side panel?

It looks like the 140mm fan akasa placed on the rear of the case, is not one of their 140mm s-slow viper fans, just a yellow 140mm fan.

thanks tom

Yeh you are right m8 its just a normal 140mm Akasa fan not the S blade fans
that they have, I will be getting 4 of the s blade fans for the side of the case
though in the near future. As well as getting the Akasa Venom Voodoo CPU
cooler as well.
