I am after some free software I can point my customers toward who wish to backup their data to an external HDD prior to me setting up their new computer.
The software needs to be easy to use and once the process started no prompts or such asking for confirmation of actions.
As this is to be used by my customers and not me I think it would be wise if the software was to back up everything on the hard disk. If they use Outlook and the default directory for .pst I doubt an average Joe would know to back these up. If they didn't, binned the old computer and lost the email then it would end up being my fault!
So a simple program that can copy everything off of the internal HDD to an external HDD.
A nice bonus would be that if the customer ran the program a second time, say a week later then only new or updated files would be copied over.
I have used unstoppable file copier (UFC) in the past.
