Free copy of 3D Mark Vantage from Evga

I`ve just register an account, and registered my EVGA GeForce GTX 260 896MB on there website, and also got a key;)

I wonder if its a key that you can use when update to the latest release of 3D Mark Vantage when available??? or will this key only work for the release version futuremark have on there website???
 
My Zotac 260 216 came with Pro license too :D

In fact many brands come with a pro license Vantage CD/key.
 
My xfx 280gtx was supplied with a vantage key, not much use to me though as im still on xp:o
 
A few months back I got a gainward card with 3Dmark Vantage, far cry 2 and Mirror's Edge. It was branded as a value card and was the cheapest available, how's that for a bargain bundle :D.
 
Yeah, I also got a similar bundle with my BFG GTX 260 OCX.

3DMark (although I'm still on XP), Mirrors Edge, Farcry 2...and a torch (all in the box)

The 260 was on offer too :)
 
Heh I missed the BFG offer by a week or so :S

And all I get on my EVGA products page is an Eve online trial rofl...

The download link contained on EVGA website is only a redirect to futuremark website to download, and yes the key works on the latest release on futuremark website, but what I was meaning by my above statement is I wonder if the key will also work with future updates for this software.

it will work with future updates, but not with the next big realease (eg 06-vantage-soemthing). I currently own 4 copies of vantage pro...bought one when i got my 280s, then noticed i got one with my asus striker II extreme, then i got one with each of my 295's.... also own 3 copies of GRID, about 6 copies of farcry etc, 2 of assasins creed....stupid people all giving out the same software.
 
:( that will teach me for going XFX, shame wouldn't mind a copy of vantage, just cant justify 19.99 is it ? on a benchmark tool the wife would kill me :P
