Have fun! I now understand why it doesn't unlock the harder levelsof the axe throw until later. The hardest difficulty is more or less free money in decent supply.

I'm trying to do what I assume is that last bit of the story, but I'm a bit stuck on what I'm supposed to do next to continue. The purple arrows are all well and good, but they're pointing me into walls...

cant quite get the pull on the bow quick enough, i press button but there seems to be a delay i guess, i have to keep waiting an extra second after each pull of the bow
but if you go back to the pub you can do this :

.EDIT - But yeah that fight is tough as hell, the bow mechanic is really tough, I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggled.
The problem with changing the difficulty is you then have to do the parrying stuff to break the armour, which was just boring for me, I prefer the smashy smashy approach. Especially when you're facing multiple opponents.
You're a long way from the end
. Just hold the pet control button on your pet for quickswap, and you'll see how many there are to unlock. You need them all to go back through levels to unlock everything. So even after you've completed the story of a character, you need to basically go through the whole map again to unlock it all. I think I'm very nearly done with all the story, but I'm not sure.
Yes, you need to contact Oculus Support, tell them that you want to claim Asgards Wrath, that you have a PC capable of PCVR, and you have a link cable. Give your Quest 2 serial number (available on the speaker arms, underneath the strap), and your oculus username (they should probably have that anyway. There's a link to the twitter saying that everyone who bought a quest 2 can claim it as well, but I don't think you'd need that anymore.
Do it quick though, I believe the offer ends at the end of this month (if it hasn't already).
Not faster, but you can go into your inventory and swap them out there.
It's the end of that warriors story, but nowhere near the end of the story for you. My advice is go through the entire game, trying to finish each story, then come back for a second run through to do everything else, so that you have all the pets to unlock all the sidequests etc.
Later characters have different abilities too, that you will need in different places (you can swap characters and pets), they also have different fighting styles.
I started doing that but found it a bit jarring, especially once you get going with new characters. I'll go back when i can do everything.
Odd, try doing the hand alignment thing again in game? I find sometimes it makes me a lot shorter than I should be, so I have to reset it.
I've set the aim assist to low, seems to give me reasonable accuracy, not sure if you can turn it off entirely.

I do it a few times, sometimes it doesn't do it quite right.
Crossbows seem to be a lot easier to shoot so i may try with that.
Now finished the main quest line. Going to play through everything again. My favourite character makes fighting very easy so shouldn't be a chore.

As I've said, after realising that I'm going to have to come back multiple times as I slowly unlock new abilities, I stopped going back. If I had what I needed to unlock stuff when I found it, I would do so, but I wasn't going to deliberately go back to older stages. Now I know when I go back to the start, I'll have access to everything I need to unlock every bit of it
. Plus I have a chance to pick up the quest items for the smith and merchant, without having to stress over them.EDIT - Is there a way to just quit the Arenas? Or do you have to die?
Just did an easy run to 70 kills and got a Hogni Heart back, so at least once, maybe if you don't do better you don't?
I don't know. That was only my second attempt, can't remember how I did for the first one.
I see now that I need to do it a few times to get enough unique items to upgrade everything. Still, like I say, easy enough with the right character

You can shield bash if you have a shield... There's a character with a hero shield as well I believe. I think if I start playing just to have fun, I'll try the shield/sword combo for a bit more surviveability, and not simply demolishing the enemies from afar.
iirc you start with a shield (or sometime after) mine broke and all i can find are broken ones..
just picked up a nice shield i found, which is cool!
i like wielding two swords at the same time, sometimes i get a shield out and just bash them to death with it
You get a normal shield with the first hero, but there's a hero that I believe has a Hero Shield, which should mean it never breaks (like the hero weapons never break).
I'm about ready to start going through everything again, will probably try and finish each session with an arena run to pick up special items for building armour etc.
I put up with a bit of choppiness and run on high with a 1070ti. I'm finding that framerate doesn't seem to effect my VR legs that much so don't mind the massive dips when crystals are exploding...
Wanted to try and upgrade, but with prices as they are (there's 1070ti cards going for £330 on the bay!) I can't see it happening. Going to still keep an eye out for chances to upgrade though.

Went back to the start, doing a tomb, went all the way through, went back to do the bit I saw that needed a different hero, and I'm still not done with it... missing a bit of treasure apparently?
I think I'll just do the next bit basically. I'll come back a 3rd time to try and polish off as such .
