There isn't a free option unless you qualify for free delivery via the forum.

The free shipping method offered depends on what you order.

Order £1,000 worth of goods and it'll be DPD.

Order a £5 cable and it'll be royal mail.

I had a £10 keyboard delivered via DPD, so it doesn't have to be hundreds/thousands.

It depends on size/weight.

Why do you want dpd.
It's free shipping.

It's just free shipping, which is decided on Weight/size. You don't automatically get dpd. Never have.
What are you even complaint about, you get free shipping.

OcUK reserves the right to choose the method of shipping, which for the purpose of Free Shipping will be DPD Next Day or Royal Mail First Class
