Free download manager?

Hi folks, been a long time since I used a download manager of a kind, are there any reasonable free download managers? I had a quick look but just overwhelmed by whats out there

Jdownloader has always been my daily user

Have used Free Download Manager (yes, really) for years. Never had an issue. Ability to schedule, limit bandwidth.

Someone will be along soon to tell mt it's riddled with spyware

Didnt realise people still used these, remember using them in the dial up days as they could take longer than the allowed time online.

There is another called IDM I believe? I have only used Jdownloader in the past but always found it buggy/slow.
