I've never had a problem with XPs firewall. SP2 brought much more to the product than the initial release.

Never had a problem with WOW and Comodo

Any other recommendations for very a simply outbound firewall?

Been looking at PC Tools Firewall Plus and it seems easy for a computer phobe, but any others worth considering?

Comodo doesn't look suitable for the users in mind.

If you just need a simple one, stick to the default Windows one. More than adequate for the task.
