A couple of days ago one of my hard drives started making some scary sounds so I got the feeling it was about to fail so I ordered a new drive to replace it and back everything up to, I got it today and installed it, but of course when I boot up with the new hard drive installed, the dodgy drive no longer wants to show up in my computer, but it's still visible in device manager and I wasn't having any problems accessing data before I reboot so I'm guessing the data's savable (a lot of it's irreplaceable and I'm lazy when it comes to backups
