Free(ish) game to play with a joypad

Having a few friend round for a few bevvies tonite and I was wondering what games we could play on my htpc for a bit to keep us occupied. Pref free to download

Currently have Trackmania which is good but maybe something else if anyone has any good ideas

the Lego games are worth a blast

the difficulty adapts to how well you're playing and it's unlimited lives, so good for kids/girls to play too

this is where consoles come into there own .......ohhh bomberman and 8 m8s brings back some drunken good laughs.

Which Trackmania have you got? There's several free ones.

IIRC, the latest and greatest one is Nations Forever.
